Adopt Salon was developed and is supported by the CELIA CENTER, a non-profit Adoption and Foster Care Support organization.
A monthly open support group for all Social Workers working with families connected by foster care and adoption.
A place for the Social Worker community to come together to share stories, thoughts, feelings, ideas, receive psycho-education, process feelings working with traumatized children and their families, and build strong connections.
The group is facilitated by Social Worker, Ledette Gambini.
Participants: Social Workers Only!
When: 2nd Tuesday of Every Month

Facilitator:
Ledette Gambini, M.A., M.F.T. Registered Intern, earned her Masters in Clinical Psychology, with a Child Studies Specialization from Antioch University.
As the mother of two young children adopted through foster care, she understands first hand the complex issues involved for all in the process. Her focus in family and individual therapy is on healing early life trauma and helping to build healthy, loving relationships. She also helps guide those who are currently considering adoption as a way to build their family.
Ledette grew up in Colombia, and in addition to being able to conduct therapy in fluent Spanish, she understands the cultural differences around foster care and adoption in the hispanic community.
